  • Friday, May 15 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM

  • Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Your race packet will contain: run t-shirt, bib and timing chip (timing chip will only be included on the bibs for the 5k registered runners).   All t-shirts will be available on a first come, first served basis.   Get to Fleet Feet early to get the size t-shirt you want!

Are you a Family Sponsor?   Your race packets (including t-shirts) will be delivered directly to your house on the Friday before the race.   No need to come to Fleet Feet!

On race day, packet pick up will be available between 7:30 to 8:30 AM at Hillview Middle School.

Note:  Race T-shirts are not guaranteed on race day.

What to wear?  What to bring?
Wear your race t-shirt and bib provided in your Registration Packet. We also recommend you bring sunscreen, a hat, layered clothing, a water bottle, a small snack, and money if you would like to buy food from the yummy food trucks at the post-race Festival.

Parking will be limited near Hillview Middle School on Elder and surrounding streets.  We encourage you to bike or walk to Hillview Middle School parking lot from 7:45 to 8:45 AM.

The Course - 1 Mile Fun Family Walk/Run
The Fun Run course starts at Hillview and then takes a short

loop through the adjacent neighborhood. No bikes, scooters,

skates or dogs permitted.  Strollers are welcome.

The Course - 5K Competitive Run

The 5K course starts at Hillview, left on Santa Cruz, right on

University, and winds back through the neighborhood along

Creek and Bay Laurel, right on Olive Street and finishing the

run back on Hillview Middle School campus.  Water stations

will be available throughout the course. No bikes, scooters,

skates or dogs permitted.  Strollers are welcome.

Finish Line
The finish line for both the 5k runners and the 1 mile fun runners will be on the Hillview Middle School campus.  Once you cross over the finish line, you can head over to the Festival!  5k runners that complete will receive a finishers medal and the 1 Mile Fun Run participants will receive a ribbon.

Time Your Run - 5K Runners Only
For 5k runners only, a small, white-foam, timing-chip is attached to your race bib.  Do not remove it, fold it, or squash it. Wear your bib on the front of your shirt at waist height and be sure it is visible as you cross the start and finish-line timing mats.  The 1 Mile Fun Run event will not be timed so you will not have a timing-chip on the bib.  If you would like to change your event from the Fun Run to/from 5k, you can do so before May 13th by contacting the race organizer.  If it's after May 13th, you will have to do it at packet pick up at Fleet Feet on May 15th or May 16th.

Note for 5k Runners: Your time will not automatically start at 9:00 a.m.  Your time will start when you cross the start timing mat.  Your time will stop when you cross the timing mat at the finish line.

Results will be posted to this website by the end of the day.

Presentation, Awards and Prizes
Kids who complete the 1 Mile Fun Family Walk/Run will receive a finisher's ribbon!  Kids who complete the 5K Run will receive a medal.    Top male/female runners in each age category will also be announced and will receive a medal at the awards ceremony approximately 10:15 AM.
